Took me awhile to notice site was live with the big Info pages at top. Finally logged in and played a bit. I'm old and change is usually hard for me except when it comes to software and hardware. Looking new and fresh!

Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i just keep getting pop up ads all over
So many pop up ads now 
The new format itself is ok- it’s pretty much the same as other herp forums. I can even live with the ads, but there are a lot more spam posts than before.
And I can’t figure out how to bump my ads- it appears that feature is gone now.

So many pop up ads now
Same here. Every time I click on a new category or classified I get a popup or ads on the top/left/right/bottom of the window. Classified sections have ads between each reptile classified, its hard to navigate around and deal with. I don't remember ads like this before. As a contributing member I thought that removed ads. For people who use the site for free, I get it, but not for paying members. I tried referencing the paid membership table, but the link is broken.
Guys, please! This is all new to me too! This is an entirely new system, and it is much MUCH more complex than the older vBulletin platform. I had YEARS to learn the other system whereas I have only had DAYS to work with this one. There was a LOT of custom programming done in the old system and much of it either needs to be implemented here, or else because of expense and tedium, just might never return. All that was put together over years of trial and error to see what would work for the most members. There might be options here in the admin section for me to make some beneficial changes, I don't know yet. Maybe I can tweak somethings with the banner ads popping up. I just don't know yet.
Regardless, I have also personally been through a LOT lately, and I only took this on because it was either DO it, or the site would have been gone because of upcoming server changes that were going to kill this site. So it was DO or DIE time for FaunaClassifieds. If you would all rather, I can just pull the plug an be done with it. I have some pocket change $$ coming in from the Google Adsense ads that make it worthwhile to put in the effort,. But it they are such a burden that I will have to do without them, well, then what incentive do I have to keep this site running? I know it has to give value to you all to keep coming back here, but bear in mind that it also needs to have value to ME in order for me to keep it running. If you all don't think that is a fair trade, well, just let me know.

A couple things I like: we can toggle the 'new posts' between all new posts and only unread ones.
I also like how easy inserting that screenshot was.
Kind of neat how all the goofy emoji things from the old site are here -- I do not think those are standard XenForo offerings.

Yes, I asked the developer to include those old codes because many of them were embedded within old posts here. I couldn't see where having both old and new would be any undue burden for anyone.Ads? C'mon...who doesn't know how to deal with ads?
