In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

NOOOOOO!!!

Well, I check on my 8.5 foot boa, she is gravid and had an RI. We have been trying to keep her healthy. I have been worried about her today, I looked in and saw that she had passed two slugs, 3 undeveloped preemies, and one developed preemie. I was worried she was trying to pass her whole litter, but I am now thinking she was trying to defecate and ended up passing these babies instead. She has not defecated, but she has stopped all attempts to pass anything. Unfortunately the developed preemie really got me down. Check this one out:

This is one of the most remarkable babies I have seen. I have been wanting full stripe babies for the longest time now. I am hoping this is only a fluke and she will continue full term with her babies and also regain her health. I will keep everyone updated.

How much longer has she got before she goes to term?
Sucks about the premies, that ones a beauty. :(

About another week, maybe two at the most. The female has now grown in girth, that last few moments when the babies start to absorb yoke. So we will see.

Sorry to hear that.

Good thing she kept the rest in and didn't drop her whole load.

have you been feeding her a lot through gestation ?

Did you feed her past the month time limit that she was due to drop ?

I'm just asking because I have Gravid girls too.

Man, that's truly a shame Michael. Really sorry to see that critter just laying there lifeless. That would have been a real prize right there.

I just hope the rest go to term and you get you another one just like it.

My condolences. I hope the rest goes unproblematic for you bro.

Good luck.
Rick

oh MAN im so sorry to see this.... I really hope Mom gets better though too..

That SUCKS Michael! *crosses fingers* i hope theres another in there just like it. What a beautiful baby that is.

I'm sorry to hear that she dropped a few early...but there are a bunch more - hopefully, they'll wait until they're done cooking. With a little luck, there will be another nice stripe (or two) in there.
Hope you get the mom-to-be healthy soon.

God, what a shame Mike...very sorry for your losses. Hope your efforts are successful with the rest of the babies and momma.

Awwww Michael, that really is a shame. That baby was stunning....but as has already been said, I've got my fingers crossed that there's more just like him in there, that all the rest of the babies will be born healthy, and most of all that mama boa will get back healthy again.

Best of luck, keep us posted.

ouch.. Michael, I think I died a lil on the inside.. what a beauty that would have been!

I hope the rest come out healthy though!!

keep us posted!

Wow, you weren't kidding when you called last night. That is a terrbile loss. Fingers and toes will be crossed that she holds the rest and are healthy.

She has had a small rat, considering she is 8.5 feet long, not a large meal by any means. The problem was she got sick and lost so much weight that she had no signs of being gravid up until this last time I checked on her and she was showing a larger belly. I had counted her out of the breeding season because of her health. I have been trying to get her health back up, so her cage is covered to keep her private and stress free. My attempts to help her ended up with me missing signs of pregnancy.

My other gravid girl, she will eat up to the day she drops without any problems.

As of today, momma is back in her corner curled up, so as it stands (hopefully), she is still cooking the rest of the litter. We will see what happens soon.

Ouch brotha. Sorry to see that one. Is it Bertha or the demonic one that is gravid? Good luck in either case let me know how it all faired
