    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Oh boy, more babies!

Well, after 97 days of incubation our second clutch decided to start hatching... We have two new babies so far. Today, day 99 and one is in the process of hatching... So total we have almost 19 babies. This is getting interesting (and our power bill isn't going down, let me tell you!)...

On a side note, isn't is cute/funny/almost intimidating how "mean" newly hatched babies are? It seems like the last 5 or so that we have had hatch have all been very defensive at first, opening their mouths and trying to show us how tough they are (I know they are probably terrified by this enormous human staring in at them... but ya know). The first one who hatched from the second clutch literally opened his mouth at and the proceeded to "come after" my husband's finger...

Just thought I'd share!

:wavey:

lol, yeah, we do, they have a bunch of personality. If only the could buy their own crickets!

I'm With You!

I'm with you on that one! I've NEVER seen something so small eat so much! But then, I've also never seen something so small poop so much! Oh, and you still haven't sent any pics of those babies yet!

I will have to have my husband help me figure out how to make the picture smaller... I tried posting another pic of one of the older ones and it REALLY didn't turn out.
He's smart with that sort of stuff though, so he'll be able to probably help me!

yeah theyre hilarious. One of them actaually managed to get my finger into its mouth, he wouldn't let go :rofl: as long as its them and not theyre parents that are aggressive, im happy.

I thought the one attacking my husband was funny. Yesterday one was literally jumping up to attack my husband's finger, gaping mouth and all...

Well, now we have 5... still coming out mean as the dickens (cute stuff... chasing hubby's finger around enclosure, gaping to show him how mean he is-the lizard is doing that, not my husband!)
