    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Quick question for everyone, I recently picked up a female that I was told was not bred this year and she is now in ovulation. I naver witnessed an obvious ovulation on any other female I didn't pair up. Is this normal or is that perhaps I was told she wasn't paired and was? She's also gained 322g over the past 2 weeks and has been off feed for months.

No denying that look!

Depending on the last time she's been with a male, it's quite possible she retained sperm from any locks from last year.

Best of luck!

Thanks John!

According to him she was never with a male, ever. Unless it happened in the 4 hr car ride I had from getting her to getting them home. They were all in a bin together because he was "conserving bags".

Well, if he's like any other male of any other species (be it cold or warm blooded), he'd be capitalizing on the opportunity if it presented itself :dgrin:.

I may be in luck! Not 100% sure but it looks like I caught the back end of another ovulation from my OTHER double het! 2 gravid females would make me feel MUCH better about the odds for some caramel glows!

Pretty excited now that we have all our animals into the new place and it's much easier on me to monitor all of them with the extra room I have. I'll keep everyone updated! :thumbsup:
