In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My mom finally broke down and gave me my Gram's recipe for my favorite cupcakes. They're too good not to share (even though I may be disowned....lol)

Peanut Butter Cup-cakes

Cupcakes
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of sifted good quality cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
5 tablespoons canola oil (or any veg. oil, even olive oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold water
3oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Put your dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
Add the oil, egg, cold water and vanilla. Mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Like cupcake tin with paper cups and fill each about 2/3 full.
Bake at 350°F until toothpick comes out dry. 15-20 min.

Peanut Butter Cream Filling
1/2 cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
3-4 tablespoons heavy cream
Mix well and fill a pastry syringe with mixture.

Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting
1 stick softened butter
2/3 cup cocoa powder
2 2/3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix well and set aside. NOTE: This frosting is very rich, frost cupcakes sparingly unless you have some serious PMS that needs taming :D.

Inject about 1 to 2 oz peanut butter cream into cooled cupcakes. You will have plently of cream to slip a little extra in each. Frost cupcakes and enjoy!

For cakes, double both cake batter and chocolate frosting, use peanut butter cream between layers.
