• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Why do we have so many people that have a profile that claims they’re from one state but yet their ad claims they’re from another? This is extremely annoying. I know there might not be a way to prove one way or the other, but I’m so tired of seeing people‘s ads who claimed their in Texas but yet delivery is in Missouri or another state for example. It’s getting kind of ridiculous. I know that I am preaching to the choir, but why can’t people be honest and or update their profile?

For me personally it's adhering to state laws. In new jersey you cannot sell turtles, but you can in PA. Provided they're not a native species and over 4". I live super close to PA, so if I am to meet up in PA, or NY it's technically not my home state. Sometimes I use other areas because I live in a remote area which doesn't see much interaction from the reptile community. However I don't plan on selling again in the forseeable future so.... and I am also just a casual

Well cause some of us travel for a living. My profile is in Mississippi but I live where ever my job takes me and that’s where I do business from. But it is a red flag for some of the sellers on here

I travel for work but I do have a home base where my animals are at and I make my way back there when the job/work is done. I don’t believe that people who travel with work travel with reptiles. Living out of hotels, extended stays and/or Airbnb‘s. We all have a home base.
