    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

PetCo Sucks!!!

The breeder(s) are most assuredly like a bearded dragon version of a puppy mill. I would say they probably have poor genetic backgrounds to begin with.
 
One thing with PetCo, Petsmart, etc. is they are businesses... SEPERATING THAT COMPLETELY from the humane issue they are doing what EVERY business does-making a profit and in terms of ONLY ECONOMICS that is good, it's what we're about in America. HOWEVER, and PLEASE keep my however as a part of this post, the fact that they are in a business that claims to be "for our pets" they NEED to know what they are doing and change MOST if not all of what they do. I actually think that would be even more profitable because I have read sooo many posts from people like us who won't shop there unless say, like we do, they buy their dog food there or something, but if they would take care of their animals, trully take care of them they may sell them to us... who knows, it wouldn't hurt them to try! :)

You have to realize that people like this are about 1% of the population, of the rest of the population probably 90% own pets and don't know any better so they'll shop at PetHO regardless as they don't see anything wrong with their practices. We can do what we can to try and change a few stores, probably won't help that much. We can stop spending money there, not a big dent but something. They will open more stores and make more money, in the end nothing will ever change.
