    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Everyone needs to be careful, a possible isolated incident very well may turn into an epidemic. The lady posting she bought a breeder female Guyanan and bred it, are you insane! Take the animal to the vet. That one irresponsible act could possibly be devastating to the whole industry. Come on people, you owe it to yourselves, the animals and your fellow herpers to practice safe and responsible herpeculture!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. All the bickering has been about who is responsable for what in this issue. WHO CARES!!!!! The important thing is that this is stopped ASAP. BILL C., Dale P., Chuck (CFRB), & Trueredtails.com, these people look up to you guys, for good reason! As you have before continue to stress the importance of proper quarantine. I agree 100% however tragic it is and from whatever the source of the IBD panic thats out right now is from has been stressed . Now what we all must do as responsible keepers is TAKE THE RESPONSIBLE measures to protect ourselves , like the old sayings go EDUCATION and is best treatment in a case like this  . Iagree the person  that bred a new snake is taking chances that well out weigh the product that will come from the breeding. IF the bred animal is IBD carrier  and breeds succesful then there are a whole new batch of carriers in the trade that may be sold as a healthy baby boa only to come back to bite all who buy them , not to mention the repercussions it will cause to all of the buyers and seller alone , however hard it is  quarintine is the best practice if you want to breed this bad WAIT at least this could save heartache for a lot of buyers and the one seller involved .

I am posting the report of Matts Boa that was purchased from ( DALE PECOLA ) of San Diego Vivarium. I personally delivered the snake to Bruce Bogoslavsky, the company's personal  Vet for necropsy. With IBD having a gestation period of 28 days, you can see that the snake had been exposed at a minimum of 18 days before Matt received the snake. I am not here to bash but just to clarify the fact that the source was not Matt nor Bill . This could happen to anyone who buys and sells Boas. But the disturbing thing is the denial and shifting of blame instead of the concern of the species,  customers,  and collections that may have received exposed animals. If you are not concerned with the animals or the hobby why be involved, there are plenty of ways to make a dollar.

TODAY MY LAWYER SPOKE WITH MR. CHRISTOPHER ROWAN, OWNER OF PET CRAZY, A PET STORE IN SAN DIEGO, CA. THIS WAS A FRIEND OF DALES BEFORE HE ALSO GOT SCAMMED BY MR. PICOLLA AS WELL. MY LAWYER AND MYSELF HAVE BOTH SPOKEN TO MR. ROWAN, AND HE HAS GIVEN US QUITE A BIT MORE EVIDENCE. DALE SOLD ONE OF HIS BOAS THROUGH CHRIS' PET STORE, USING CHRIS' CREDIT CARD MACHINE, TO RECEIVE PAYMENT. DALE SOLD A BOA TO LINDA CAMERON FOR $1200 AND IT DIED TWO DAYS LATER. SHE HAS NOW REFUSED PAYMENT ON THE CREDIT CARD, AND CHRISTOPHER ROWAN IS NOW STUCK WITH THE BILL. DALE ALSO OWES MR. ROWAN $1000 AND HAS FAILED TO PAY THIS AS WELL. YOU ASKED FOR ME TO SPEAK DALE AND NOW I HAVE.

HE CONTACTED ME STATING ONE OF THEM WASNT DOING WELL. HE WASNT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, THEN HE CONTACTED ME A WEEK LATER STATING IT HAD DIED ALONG WITH ANOTHER ONE I SENT. HE DECIDED TO PUT THE THIRD ONE DOWN. HE HAS YET TO SEND ME A VET REPORT LIKE HE PROMISED SO I HAVE NOTHING.HE SAID THEY JUST DIED.
HE HAS NEVER EVER GAVE ME ANYTHING THAT HAS PROVED EITHER WAY THAT THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

PET KINGDOM SOLD A MAN I KNOW A SNAKE THAT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH IBD BY AVIAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL. I BELIEVE THEY DID THIS KNOWINGLY.PENDING FURTHER INVESTIGATION
THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS MATTER.
