    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thought I'd give an update on the PNG Jags, they started hatching Sat. and of the 23 eggs 10 have hatched so far with a bunch of heads still sticking out of eggs. I'm real pleased with this clutch, mom has a reduce pattern but I didn't think I'd get babies with as reduced pattern as some of these have.

even the sibs have really reduced patterns

Very cool, Randy. That reduced pattern is awsome.
What was the final count on that clutch? What was the ratio of jags to normals?

Thanks, Charlie

Thanks guys,,, Charlie out of 23 eggs there were 17 Jags, 1 I'm unsure of being Jag or sib and 5 sibs. So a rather high percentage of sibs, some have already eaten there first time so looks like these guys are getting off to a good start.. Randy

WOW, 17 out of 23 is GREAT!! You lucked out on that one.
I would really like to see more pics of them (particlarly the reduced pattern ones)

Will you be producing any of the NG carpets..........I mean from a pure NG x NG pairing?

Cha~

Hey Charles, yeah was kind of strange getting so many Jags still haven't decided if the one is or not. I'll wait till they all shed and get some pics posted of the super reduced pattern ones. Got a lot of striping in this bunch as well, thought I'd get some but not this much. Going to make deciding on keepers tough as I plan to keep a max of 4 of them.

I have 2.2 NGs ,, 1.1 WC and the other pair CBB, the CB male was 2 young to go this past season or I would have used him instead of the Jag. My adult male WC was to new to even think of trying. I'm thinking of taking my WC male to my CBB female this season. As far as the mother of this clutch I'm undecided, sort of thinking of repeating the breeding to see if it comes out like this one did. Or trying here with the CBB male or ??? lol. Looking for another female Jag to try with one of these boys as well to see what they do when mixed with a Jag.. Randy
