POS time to lay

My girl was 29 days from shed to eggs.
5 good eggs. Haven't hatched yet.

now that is a BEAUTIFUL sight!!! I hope I can post the same kind of pics soon. We are counting down The days. The earliest we could get them is Thursday the latest..........FOREVER.

Hey Steve, out of curiosity, was your humidity relatively high in the bin when the eggs were laid?

Most of ours lay between the 27th and 30th day, one female took 46 days last year and drove us nuts.

Running about 75% when they were laid.

previous years it was about 30 days~ on everyone but Anna who took some outragous amount of time a couple years ago~ I think it was 53 days or something! This year though everyone seems to be running a bit odd. I have two girls POS on Feb 17th.......still waiting for the eggs! The first clutch this year POS was Jan 20 and eggs were Feb 29. Second clutch POS was Feb 26 eggs were on March 24~ third clutch POS was Feb 17th and eggs were on March 25th (but the last two girls I didn't even realize the earlier shed was the POS~ I thought it was just a shed!)

My girls go between 28-30 days from POS. That's what I've seen over the last few years anyways. I do start watching them closely that last week, just in case.

Kevin, thanks, it gives me something to do while I am home other than staring at my girls and trying to fight the urge to peek in on them. They both are in a tight ball and I feel I shouldn't be peeking on them every 1.5 minutes

Well I am still waiting for eggs On the 6Th I Spot will be 30 days POS. Man why is time going so slow??? At least I got my incubator up and running at a good level. The temps are running 85-86, with condensation on the side of the egg enclosure but not dripping down. I sure wish she would hurry up and lay so I can start watching the eggs every second of the day

Most of my girls laid between 20-29 days except one that had her POS on 12/22/07 and laid on 3/01/08...... you do the math!!
