    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Possible Swollen Hemipenis? NEED HELP!

Hey fellas...my leopard gecko who I've raised since a hatchling has always been kept in tip-top shape, he's totally healthy, eating well, alert, looks like a gangsta... unfortunately the past day he's been acting rather strange so I decided to take a peek at his behavior...and he appears to be licking his hemipenis...at first I was freaked out thought it was a prolapse but there is no blood, nothing...closer examination shows the little hemipenis bulges are...as what I can describe "pulsating" like they look like they are swelling up...I think it might be semen since he's about sexually mature now...and he's all alone...what could be the cause of this...he's licking it constantly and seems to be irritated...any idea how to fix this? Thank you so much for any help...the fella could use it
 
I'd have a vet look at him.

Try giving him a warm soak, to see if he poop for you. He could be constipated. If that doesn't work I'd take him to the vet with a fresh fecal sample.

Are you touching the bluges at all when you see this?
 
well unfortunately it's about 10 at night wher e I'm at...vet out of question...he seems totally fine though...im not touching bulges either they are doing it all on their own...might even be him moving the bulges...but they look like they are moving
 
btw im the same person as combine had an issue with my profiles...any help you can give is helpful...i really don't need anything life threatening for him
 
Yeah I know you can't get him to the vet this late.

Try to give him a warm soak first, see if it get's him to poop. Then put the fecal matter in a ziploc bag and call your herp vet in the morning that you'd like a fecal done.
 
yeah my bad...ok good news...he is fine...i believe he was just constipated he was able to defecate and his vent area seems fine
