    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have two wild caught White lips (D'alberts) pythons. I aquired them wild caught at ~one year old they say. they are not growing after a six month period of time. Is there anything i could look for in the fecal to tell of worms? How long is a fecal sample good for testing?
 
You won't see much, unless you look under a microscope...if you do, the situation is bad enough for them to be passing live worms instead of eggs. The fresher the better, for a fecal sample, but I am not sure how old is too old. I'm not a big proponent of most empiric treatments, but for WC DAlberts (once it is ascertained that you are feeding them enough), I would dose them with fenbendazole and metronidazole.

It is a little soon to see results yet, but did you increase the feedings (be it the prey size, quantity, or frequency) after your last thread? Get a better guestimate of size?
 
Hard to say but being as they are WC there is a good chance they harbor some sort of parasite. As Harald said knowing how big they are and what and how often you feed would help. Randy
