    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

For What's It's Worth

OK- I am guilty of browsing The Reptiles Auctions Leo page every day
I like to see what's up for auction and I found this Leo back up for auction today

http://www.reptileauctions.com/auctiondetails.php?id=2917

I just don't understand the logic behind this guys defense on the low weight of this animal and his claiming that the ONE" person that complains "must breed her animals too death" is just the most ridiculous claim that I have ever heard in my entire life
Yeah-I'm miffed and no it wasn't me that he was referring too-at least I don't think that it was-LOL
Because I did write him a nice letter asking him to pull the animal off of the auction and to fatten him up some
I dunno- I just don't get his logic behind the brumation thing.........Why would you want to brumate an animal at les than a 40 gram weight at less one year of age
Sandy

is this the same snow leo you had on here last week that was removed after all the complaints that it was malnourished?

wow it was not remaoved due to complaints the website was down call 866-585-1372 i was on the phone with them for over half an hour trying to figure out what happened alot of stuff was erased. i mostly just sent pics along with more info on this guy.and people asked if they could buy him for cheaper or for trades, but i dont wanna trade i have enough projects going on. there was only one that person that complained! apparently she just breeds her leos to death and doesnt give them a much needed rest!!! but sorry i actually brumate my herps to give them a rest period and not breed them to death like alot of other people out there. he now weighs 41 grams 7 grams more then last week. he is getting fatter and fatter. please if you purchase this guy you must brumate "hibernate" him! please. if you know what your doing and are a serious breeder then you know how important it is to brumate your herps. thank you.

This looks like the same sickly leo you offered before but was removed because of complaints. A healthy, year and a half old should weigh closer to 70 grams, not 40. By the way, stop claiming to have a mack super snow. Super snows are pure white and black with NO color. Lets see some pictures of its eyes and tail.

how do i add more pics. and yes super snow. and my mistake 2 people complain. wow. anyways like i said website was down call 866-585-1372 to confirm. and if you brumate them like what would happen in the wild then it would weigh what it weighs. i see you just breed to death to. im telling you you will get bigger and better babies. and a trick is also making certain colors on the babies with temp. try it. it works. and he is pure white with black and very very very light yellow on the sides. it looks alot yellower because of the light and my crappy camera phone. i droped my digital camera in my reef tank lol. send me yor email and ill send you as many pics as you want. o yeah and his eyes are all black. thank you

im new to the site so bare with me. im mostly interested in the mojave you have up for auction. but this guys nice. but i do think they are right i dont think its a super but it is deffinatly a mack snow and worth the same. if you can find paper work on him "if any" and he is a super. i would end auction and raise the price. try to take better pics like outside in natral light. most house bulbs make everything yellow. sorry about giving my 2 cents again lol. email me back on the mojave.

OOPS
I was in the middle of replying to the nice comment that Marcia (Thank You Marcia) made about my baby Prima and I got side-tracked at the reptile auction and I was so upset to see this Leo listed again and the comments that this person is making about people that had complained last week that i obviously posted it as a reply instead of a new thread
Yeah- It's been a real long day and the weather is driving me crazy with major pain issues so bear with me folks
:blush:

Sandy

OK-folks-please excuse my confusion- I am taking my befuddled mind and going back to bed
Jeanne-thank YOU for the lovely reply to my Prima post-OOPS again
Note to self
< I should not post on Fauna when I have taken my pain meds>

Justa quick heads up...The add is gone yet again. I wish this guy qould just go away and stay away.And it really drives me crazy is I can't post a question to ot. I tried countless times and it never shows up. But I am glad the animal is off there But I doubt he will take the poor thing to a vet.
