    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

problems posting replies, permission issues

If your problem is isolated to the classifieds, your answer can be found in the announcements posted in each section of the classifieds. Basically, due to ongoing issues, the option of replying to classified ads is no longer available to registered members.

What he^ said. You can't reply in the classifieds unless you are a paying member.

Instead, just private message the seller:thumbsup:

Well, have you tried reading the announcement that is posted in all of the classifieds sections? Or how about reading through this Feedback Forum for threads about this issue? Since those failed to help you, can you tell me how I failed to make these announcements and informational threads more visible to members?

A random thought: Would it be too much trouble to "potter" around and make the site rules pop up in a BIG RED SIGN with BLACK PRINT every time a member tries to act/post in a manner not allowed in that level they may be in (obviously it won't be possible to do this for every action/rule..but perhaps the site may be easily programed to do certain SPECIFIC warnings?).

I hope this makes sense...:ack2:

Not without changing a WHOLE lot of things.....
Wouldn't be worth it at all IMO.
