    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I live near Denver Colo
As a native of the region I remember having great fun watching and listening to these little frogs
Now I have some acrerage with a small stream leading to a marsh
I would love to introduce this native boreal chorus frog into this marsh
Does anyone know where a population of these can be found near me????
Or is anyone raising these frogs that might be able to supply some to me

Pseudacris crucifer is the Spring Peeper, it is not native to Colorado.
With respect to Chorus frogs- I agree that they are neat to have around, moving them around within their range is a poor idea, is frowned upon by wildlife biologists, and may even be illegal in your area, as it can lead to genetic pollution.
However, chorus frogs are abundant in a variety of wetland habitats throughout their range. If your marsh is within the range of the chorus frog, and is appropriate habitat to support chorus frogs, I would say that it is highly likely that they are already there.

Hopefully you have lots of neat herps in your marsh.
Here in Minnesota, we have chorus frogs statewide. Appearance varies substantially by region. In southern MN where I live, they are generally brown or gray. However in northern MN, they are more colorful, and I frequently find green or red specimens. They are truly beautiful frogs. It's too bad that they are so hard to find outside of the breeding season.
