In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Public and Breeders Bewareof ALAN BOSCH REPTILES

I agree. This is more like name calling than an actual problem. I have never done business with Alan, but, this thread sure wouldn't stop me if he had something that I wanted.

Nah, this thread aint pointless. If this guys claims are true then it needs to be said AND proven. And if the guys claims are not true then I think it will shine a big bright light on him as someone to stay away from and not do business with.

This thread is certainly going to be useful one way or the other.

If I were Alan.....I'd be on here setting this guy straight. But that's just me.....even if the guy has already done a pretty good job of NOT making his case, I wouldn't stand for someone trashing (or attempting to) trash my reputation. Especially after posting on several other REAL bad guys threads, that they sound "like andother Alan Bosch". I'd be prepared to do some whoopin.

It's my understanding that Alan takes Monday and Tuesday off and will not even be aware of this thread until tomorrow.

Ah, OK. Thanks, Dennis.

It's true that Alan does not work at the retail store on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I assure you that he checks his email on those days.

It's my guess that he has opted to simply ignore this since, the way it stands, everything is completely unfounded.

has anyone e-mailed this guy to see if he really even has any e-mails? sounds like one of those"the check's in the mail" things to me.

I took him up on his offer about the emails he said he has as proof, but as expected, I have not heard back from him. :shrug01:

To Whom It May Concern:

Partial tales are almost always biased. Mr. Mershon and I came to a verbal agreement and I attempted to satisfy the balance of that agreement in response to an e-mail recently. His responses were threatening and not conciliatory in nature. He added terms to the original agreement and showed no signs or any desire to be reasonable unless I succumbed to his new demands, all presented with threats of acting irrationally. The issue now is not a function of honoring a debt but of recognizing that I can no longer expect a fair or reasonable response.

I am all for being both reasonable and fair as I have a long term outlook on both life and business. Debts should and will always be honored by me and my business, whomever represents me. Mr. Mershon has evidence in his e-mails of my desire to both repair the concerns he had as well as make good on the debt. However, when someone or a corporation decide to return reasonable compromise dialog with threats, it is time to let the lawyers take over.

Alan,

Thanks for the response. With due respect, I have two quick questions. First, who is "Mr. Mershon" as the OP is someone posting under the name "David W Kenyon"? Second, you have alluded to there being an unsatisfied debt and your "desire" to make good on it. As unreasonable as the OP seems to be, do you agree that you owe him a debt that you have not paid for over one year as he alleges?

Question

Is "not paying the debt as agreed upon" any less or more a change in original agreement than asking for new terms now that the debt has not been paid as promised. Just a question to think about.

In my opinion... Not paying a debt is far worse than asking for new terms in order to be paid!!

Sure Mr Kenyon.. or whatever his true name may be, did not present his case as thoroughly as some of us would have liked. But, if he has not been paid for a transaction that took place well over a year ago from any breeder big and well known (Like Alan) or small and new to the hobby.. We should know why????

I am glad i waited to chime in on this one!

That one is worthy of about one milisecond of consideration Chris. The answer from any reasonable person would be a resounding less.

...I have known Alan Bosch for a very long time. I know him to be an honest and trustworthy person. He is an asset to the herp hobby and business. He was giving lectures on BP care and breeding at shows I attended 15 or more years ago. We have exchanged snakes for money on several occasions. I have steered some business his way and will continue to do so in the future. He has steered some business my way and I hope he will continue to do so in the future. He says the OP made unreasonable demands and he refuses to comply with them. In reading the OP's posts here I would be inclined to believe what Alan says about him making unreasonable demands. Hopefully the OP can decide to deal in a reasonable manner with Alan and then Alan can deal with him and get this resolved.
...This thread is somewhat like a train wreck. Nobody wants a train to wreck but we are all gonna stop and have a look. In the long run it seems to me that the overwhelming support Alan has gotten from many people here far outweighs any thought that the OP may have a reasonable grievance against him. So as usual the BOI works in it's own strange way.

End of thread! If this is going to the courts None of the involved should comment any further.. Let it die! Until the final outcome.

Well, since it was the OP who came here making the accusation, the burden to show evidence of his claim should fall on him. So far, all he has posted is BS.
