    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok i have a lot of inquires lately about these pygmy mice. i have a few in my batch but never really decided to take a go at breeding them in a colony. i see not difference in size between a standard new born mice pink and a new born pygmy mice pink but many want them instead of regular mice pinks cause they say they are smaller. i don't see it unless mine are monster baby's lol can any elaborate on these pygmy mice and is there a real difference thanks.

True pygmy mice are not "mice" that are small, like dwarfs of real mice. There is a pygmy mouse species that is truly TINY, and yes you'd know the difference at first sight. Fully grown they are smaller than the end joint of your thumb.

If you're not talking about the other seperate species of pygmy mouse(I think they're african?) then sorry, can't help you! LOL.

Yes i'm finding out they are talking about the african pygmy mice and was not the ones i have lol.

would it be a good think to start breeding i mean are people really wanting these pinks which are tiny?

if so i will start breeding them since many that breed geckos seem to want them.

Do tons of research first--they're wild, extraordinarily high strung, and are incredible athletes. They're like living popcorn. Imagine how big a hopper must be.

Super high strung. The ones I had briefly were like miniture mice smoking crack. Cute as all heck, but man, they freaked out about everything.

I was told to feed them parakeet seed and you can't really use a regular water bottle as they are too small to move the ball on the spout.

If there is a market for extra teeny pinkies, and you don't mind the cracked-out mice trying to escape and freaking out, you could have a niche market. Just do a LOT of research first.

I still breed pygmies....

That is how I do my colonies now, in 10 gallon tanks.

They are completely a novelty pet. You can't handle them. They will bite once caught. And they don't breed all that well. Upside is a get $15 ea locally.
