In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would like to know if anyone who has purchased any Het for Albino Ball Pythons from them, have been able to prove them?? I got a pair from them back in June 05 and will be trying to prove them this next breeding season. They offered a very good guarantee if they do not reproduce at all. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Again I am just seeking information.

Tom not really sure what kind of info you are looking for But didn't you ask about them back in 2005 http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68905&highlight=LOKI
here another http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66809&highlight=LOKI From what I know of them, they are top notch and will stand behind what they sell .....When in doubt "Call them"

The question...

Tom's question was not asked in either of the previous threads. It seems like a valid question considered recent events. If at all it would have been better to pose it in the same thread and not start a new one. One way or the other I don't see why the need of making fun of his inquiry?

Thanks.

And before someone else feels the need to make fun of my typing:

Tom, I know it isn't funny wasn't meant to be, Dan I do understand with what is going on in the het albino ball python world, everybody is up in the air about their hets. I sorta forgot that this a touchy subject. my apologies didn't mean to make it look like I was poking fun.Good luck in your quest.

Does anybody have any contact info on Loki Herpetology??? I have emailed and called the numbers I have and have got no responses. How about NERD and JOLIFF? I purchased a pair of Het Albino Ball Pythons last year from them and was wanting to discuss the garanty they offered with the sale. On the certificate they stated that the SIRE was from NERD and the DAM from Joliff.

Thank you

It's guaranty not garanty!!!

I am surprised that nobody has any contact info on these people!!! I called the numbers on my snake certificate, and one is disconnected and the other goes to a mail box. I looked at a hard copy of the add where I saw the pair of Het Albino Ball Pythons for sale and called the number on it. It comes up to some lady and I left a message. Well she called she said she used to work for them before, she said that she would contact them and have them call me.

The person who sold me the snakes was Schmeby Reagan, The lady that called me told me this guy no longer works for them. I spoke to Michael Jolliff and he has no recollection of dealing with Loki. I also called NERD and they sent me an email asking if I had a certificate for the snakes and I told them I do. That is the last I heard from them.

All I am trying to do is very the info on the certificate. The lady that called told me that what they sold was all true as to what the animals were.

Loki's web site www.lokiherp.com is not working. I am wondering if they were selling quality animals and issued on paper offers that if the snakes do not prove out they would refund 3 times the original price paid for them.

With the scams out there, I am just worried! I checked them out on the BOI and got all positive response. Well I hope somebody has some info, I am waiting to Hear from NERD. All I have is hard copies of documentation no email.

Thank you!

Michael Davenport, is the name that shows up on the profile for Loki here on Fauna, Last date as to being on fauna 11-05

Did you call the telephone number that Michael has posted on this site?

Disclaimer: For all I know Loki Herpetology can be the most honest herp business that ever existed in the face of the earth.

But that kind of a statement in a guarantee is disturbing. What does "if the snakes do not prove out" mean? There should be no ifs or buts in a guarantee. The snakes are what the seller states they are, period. If they are not, then the seller is in trouble, and he will not get out of it by paying twice or even three times the original price. That statement in itself should be enough to discourage buyers instead of giving them reassurance. But that's just my opinion.

Regards.

This is what I mean, after I asked about them prior to the sale, on this BOI all I got was a bunch of they are the most honest people. Well I had allot of questions about this guarantee and said why if you say they are het and was 100% sure. The guy I dealt with stated this way the customer would feel safer in dealing with them. But the only thing is that now that I want to verify the lineage of these snakes there is nobody to talk to. It's as if they closed shop.

This is why I would like to hear from other that may have purchased het albino ball pythons, and if they have been successful at proven them out? Or any other type of Het Albino snakes for that matter.

Tom,

I'm confused about the origin of your snakes. What do Joliff and NERD have to do with them? Were they the ones who produced both snakes?

There are at least three people (not counting the woman you mentioned) that have been involved with LOKI Herpetology: Schmeby Reagan (the one you just mentioned), someone by the name of Lou, and Michael Davenport. What's interesting is that they sold you this pair in June but they were interested in buying a lone baby male 100% hetero for albino in March right here in Fauna (see link below). Were they brokers?
