    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

now for my Q;

my hubby has built a double viv so we can seperate our beardies, all thats left to do is put the glass in and seal it, then we can put the lights in and I can have fun decorating it. :( it's been that way for two months because of the bad weather (can't varnish indoors). so I had a thought and wanted to hear yours.
Originally I thought about cutting perspex? (the plastic sheets) and lining the inside with this and sealing the corners with aquarium sealant. it would be water tight with the benefit of being able to use suckers to stick everything onto it yippee! hubby thinks :NoNo: better idea to use tiles (its easier basically) either lyno or I thought hmmmmmm uneven slate that they could climb... say :iagree: lol
but obviously it should be what would be best to maintain the wood and the uvb light not just the look and the fun for the reptiles ... but would love both.

give me your opinions on what to do, anything that can be done inside to hurry this along!

thank you :bolt01:

Oh, they're adorable!!! You're doing a good thing by seperating them. They will grow faster and be much less stressed. Do you know thier sexes?

A couple of things to consider when you are creating your enclosure. Most of our males have a problem with seeing their reflection. We created melamine enclosures with glass front doors and some males feel that they are being threatened by their reflection. They will flare and darken their beards, head bob very aggressively and attack their "aggressor". This is also true with glass aquariums.

Also, we chose to use glass for the front doors of our melamine enclosures because Plexi Glass will become easily scratched from their claws. Once the Plexi Glass is scratched, suction cups will have a hard time sticking to it anymore.

:eek: yea they are finally large enough for me to sex them and the lumps say both male. I thought by the difference in size and behaviour that we had a male and female but nope. But they don't fight they just have the very odd head bob and flare when ones shedding and feeling grumpy otherwise they tend to cuddle up to each other. But they need there own space!

yep I know abou the reflection ting I've seen it already lol, raptor has had a full scale pantomine fight with himself, just head bobbing, waving and bearding up, but the vivs have to be stacked due to room considerations. And they don't like being handled from above really.

what would you suggest? to prevent so much reflection? lol the glass gets so spotted from my misting sessions my hubby somtimes wonders how I can see them, what about a frosted strip along the bottom as thats were they mostly look out of?

I'll have a think, thanks for the advice
