• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Quick question Rich....

I was trying to post a question in the state specific forum about some snakes i am interested in and dont know the current status of and it wont let me post in that forum and the forum is locked??? Are you getting rid of this forum??? also I dont see a NJ thread to post my question in.

USA State Specific Issues
Issues that are specific to a particular state, or subregion within a state, should be appended to the existing relevant thread. NEW threads cannot be created in this forum.

nicolai, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I had it originally set up to have a separate forum for each state. That went over like a lead balloon, and was taking up too much real estate on the forum display pages for the traffic (or lack thereof) they were getting. So I just consolidated things so ONE forum was allocated for ALL of the states, and each state would have it's own separate THREAD, which people can reply to in order to append more state specific information. Not the best way to do things, for certain, but based on the traffic, it was the best compromise I could come up with.

Sorry, but every once in a while I try to assess the utilization of the forums on this site, and then change things if it appears that particular forums aren't worth keeping here. You will probably see me go through these "use it or lose it" phases every now and again.

I only see one thread in there now, Do i have to change one of my settings or something to see the rest of them?? Or should i just post my question in the new hampshire forum??

I changed the time setting down the bottom to "from the beginning" and found 24 threads but none for NJ.
