In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im currently working on a deal with a gentleman who breeds rabbits Where I would be the main buyer for everything he produce's :D... While were hammering out a few odds and ends,( The deal will be sealed this upcomming week when I visit the facility to see hows it ran and the upkeep/condition of it is) Im curious as to whats the best feed to feed rabbits that are going to be used as feeders?
Being the fact Im going to be using them as feeders and reselling them for that use (or as pets when asked) I want to make sure that their fed a diet suitable to feed to reptiles.

As Always Any Information good or bad is GREATLY Appriciated

If he is like any of the rabbit breeders I have seen and I have only seen three breeder facilities here in San Antonio TX. He will be feeding rabbit pellets and the rabbits will be in cages that are about four feet off the ground supported by wires from the rafters of the open sided shed. Here in South Texas we really have no winter so all the breeders do is drape a tarp over the sides to keep the wind off the rabbits. The heat here so more important that is why the rabbits are under a covered shed so they get shade and the wind blows over them. Do not be surprised that there will be a bunch of poop under the cages because most breeders clean there sheds out about once a month in the summer and longer in the winter when the flies are less. Please remember that the shed is open with no wall so there really is no smell.

The reason I know this is that I had several boas and pythons at the time and this breeds put ads in the local paper trying to sell pet rabbits. I called and told them that I need snake food and all said to come on out. They all sold me a $15.00 pet rabbit for $5.00 for snake food and all of the breeders sold rabbits for people food too. People food rabbits were like $6.00 to $7.00, however they broke that rule to because I bought some really big people food rabbits for $5.00 also.

All the breeds did have one very hard and fast rule that I could never say that I got snake food off of them because all the breeds that I dealt with were show rabbit breeds. The breeds did not want the other breeds to know that they were selling rabbits for snake food however people food selling was OK.
