Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My father has a student that is having problems with her RETF. I'm extremely new to keeping frogs and haven't seen this problem myself so don't know anything based upon the description I received.

It seems that the frog has devoloped little white spots on it's back that turn black. It also seems lethargic to the student. As I'm approx. 250 miles away I am having to offer suggestions as to cause and solution. Their nearest reptile vet is a minimum of 120 miles away.

I have suggested cleaning the enclosure and all non-plant decorations with bleach followed by a mild detergent and huge amounts of repeated rinsing to make sure that no bleach or soap residue are left behind. Then change the substrate.

Also suggested increasing the calcium dusting of crix to 3 to 4 times a week just to make sure that she is doing so. Along with this I stated that she needs to make sure the temps are a warm enough and suggested that she research it herself but approx 78 to 84 degrees would not be too warm.

Please give any suggestions or answers, especially if you have seen anything resembling this before. Wish I was of more help but that's the best I got this evening. Thanks in advance.
