    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You won't have/show any rep power until your 100th post. Rep power is the number of rep points you can give someone else of half the number the you can take. You can't give rep points until you have rep power/after your 100th post.
 
Well, even if you can't give points yet, it's always nice to know when someone appreciates (or dislikes, I suppose) one of your posts! :)
 
I agree, feedback is important. Aside from points. altogether, I treasure feedback in the way of posts following mine that take note of something I have said in a positive way, as well as emails I have received from people who like my writing.
We are all family here; we should listen and support and give feedback to all those we can; and IMHO the best feedback whether positive or negative, helps someone grow and change.
Rep points are a shorthand for all that, but I believe points should never totally replace personal communication.
 
Not to put a damper on your excitement Scott/Missi :D but you also have to have been registered for a full month before the rep power kicks in. So, looks like you have a few weeks to go to make the rest of those posts. (BTW, I love that baby snake in your avatar, the pic captures it perfectly, the color, the eyes, the attitude, it is like the Essence of Cornsnake or something.)

That is a pic of one of our Ultramel babies which we hope to be a breeder in the coming years.

Also thanks for the one month comment, I new there were certain guidlines like the 100 post one but wasnt sure on them all.

I will continue to work on my business and at one month will spread the good back to all that have helped me.
