    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I emailed the Webmaster at Reptibid and this is what he sent me back.

We have deleted the ad and have started an investigation on the "seller".

To me, that is impossible. I am the owner of that snake. He took my picture from Kingsnake.com. I suggest he is dealt with accordingly.

I think it is funny that he tried to turn it around on me. I took the pics with a digi cam, so no negatives. I can take more pics anytime as she is still there and still on the eggs. I posted those pics on the Bob Clark forum and also on Kingsnake. I have more that never got put on there. Hopefully they will find out more info in him and he will get in trouble.

I found the add out of complete boredom. I would never buy anything from there, for that exact reason. It is pretty sad what someone will do for the allmighty $.

I just went to kingsnake and deleted all of my pics from there. I will never post there again. I love to show off my snakes, but not if people are going to do stuff like that.

If I e-mail reptibid, is it in my right for them to disclose any and all personal information about this seller, Herpmanadam??
He has fraudulently stolen my pics and used them to purposely try and commit a federal crime on their site.
In example, e-mail, ip and any other personal information??

Not without a court ordered subpeona. They would be facing some harsh liability disclosing that info to you.

Are you speaking of personal information pertaining to address and phone number, or computer information?? ex: Ip and E-mail??

If the second or all is what you are pertaining to, than how is Fauna able to publicly list Ip's and such??

I would like a Name and IP or e-mail and Ip if @ all possible.

I think I am completely within my rights for asking a website of this informatioin, due to one of there members trying to commit a federal crime on their site w/ my stolen property.

I was planning to get a few pointers from an owner/administrator who has dealt with these similar legal issues before I decided which path to Take.

Let me know what you come up with, maybe we can work together to make an example of this prick.

Unfourtantly, I don't think they will give you any info on this person. I have been the victim of identity theft for 4 years now, started while I was in the Air Force. One day I got a cell phone bill for an outrageous amount for a phone I didn't have addressed to a MR. Donivan ( I am a chic). I called them up. They could tell me a man had a drvier's license with my info but his picture but they would not give out anything else, like what numbers he called or anything.
I've had other horrible things happen (they even have my mom's maiden name, they have everything about me!) and they will not give out the criminal's info. They have to protect their privacy rights even though the punks totally exploit mine. I even finally, got all the personal info on a woman in LA who is posing as me and was getting copies of all my credit cards sent to her and even had my mortgage changed to her address....had her name, address, phone number....police wouldn't do a thing. And she continues to make my credit life heck, even though I have all the alerts on my file.
Good luck getting this scammer's info. I hope you do.
Sorry for going on and on, just wanted to show that even in beyond a doubt criminal activity, the criminal seems to have more rights. These scammers in the reptile world just seem to be able to keep ripping good people off.
 
i know a way

You could have bid on the snake. In fact, you could have made sure you won by making sure your bid was the highest. Then after you won the auction you would of course have all the contact info you would need. Of course, he could never deliver the snake so he couldn't accuse you of non-payment since he never owned it.

Am I evil or what?

So how come, being the victim of identity fraud, I can never get the person's info they were using? Once they used my credit card to get prescriptions.....I could have gotten great info from that, but they wouldn't release a copy of it to me....and just today I got another call about two phones I have with t-mobile.....funny, I am with At+T...ID theft again....and they tell me they won't release info unless I subpeona, or the police subpona(can't spell) the info. And they admitted they saw the ID theft alert on my credit report but never bothered calling the number on my alert to verify it was me as the alert demands....
Sorry kinda off subject but yet not....how can one place give info to you when a "Crime" has been committed against you but another claims they legally can't? Why is it that some places seem to protect the criminal? Places like credit cards, especially my Discover card, and all the cell phone companies that this person has repeatedly opened phones with? And places like kingsnake....
Why can't there be laws to protect us, not the criminal?
I hope you can nail this kid, or adult.....even if you can get one scam artist stopped....it is going to save someone a big headache down the road! Good luck!!!!!
 
I do not know why the laws are the way they are, but I am very thankfull I got the info. Now I just need to verify that the individual used honest info. We'll see what Tom and I can get done.

I have been in contact w/ a detective Cox by phone and e-mail in Adams area. He is looking into this case.
