    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

At last, Repticon is coming to Bristol, VA. The last Bristol reptile show was held in 2003 and was a smashing success, with tons of vendors and over 2200 people thru the gate.

Gates will open at 900 am Saturday for VIP ticket holders and 10 am for general admission. Gates will close at 500 pm. Sunday gates will open at 10pm and close at 400pm.

The show will be held at the Bristol Conference Center, 3005 Linden Drive Bristol, VA 24202.

The Tri-Cities Herpetological Society (www.facebook.com/TriCitiesHerp) will be presenting a local reptile display, featuring native snakes, turtles, toads, ect. The display will be manned by Bret & Amanda Barrett.

Chuck Hurd Serpentology (www.ChuckHurd.com) will be presenting a venomous reptile display featuring cobras, gaboon vipers, puff adders, rattlesnakes, copperheads, cottonmouths, and more. The display will be manned by Chuck and Silvia Hurd.

Chuck Hurd will lecture both days on local snakes and venomous reptiles.

Rhonda Goins, Lead naturalist at Bays Mtn Nature Center and VP of the Tri-Cities Herpetological Society will be speaking both days on local turtle species.
 
Just a remonder, show is this weekend. hope everyone around the area can make it.
