    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Pretty interesting deal - but I'm not sure what it's for and how to check it. i see I have 19 reputation points, but for the life of me, I can't figure if that's good or bad.

I'm sure it's obvious, but I'm missing it.

I enjoy the new look!!
 
It's a new toy to play with. So play with it until you figure out what it does..... :)

When I rate a post - it says I can rate it either positive or negative.

I've been leaving some posts on the comment line, are some of you getting them?
 
ok bells and whistles are nice aannd all but i think that have a feedback rating a point system for us bad people (we have points so we are bad) and now this reputation thing is going a bit over board.... if the intent of the point system was to not have some effects on your reputation, it does.. so now why make a reputation thinie to get peoples approval on how you make post. say your spelling sucks or whatever i mean come on it's a bit much

its a way in which all the people whom approve your post in a thread can "smack you on the tookus" (like in football) and give you that oh so confident feeling we all need. it makes us feel special and our butt tingle
 
and i think it adds points everytime you post or maybe everytime you post in a particular thread. so if i am giving out bad advice or do not know what i am talking about my reputation may increas? cool.... i know me and overton and monte and all can talk about nothing quite lengthy
 
Robin you are funny. BTW I have never seen you give out bad reptile advice, it seems like you know your subject quite well.

Shannan! I was going to give you a negative rep, but when I was doing it the little box came up it was already on "positive" and I was to lazy to move the little green dot so I just left it there!.......but other than that I'm giving you a double brat triple green dot dittaly-do! OK?

i like that tingly butt thing too, so overtons not alone however i dont want to touch overton's butt especially having those big chompers and all... he would bite the hand that smacked him
