    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Retic pros, please help!

So, I sort of adopted/traded for this retic tonight and I'm hoping it's a dwarf just because the alternative scares me.(in that to be this little, some gross under feeding must have occurred. The people I got it from paid a normal retic price for it and tell me it was eating a couple mice a week, then didn't eat for two or three months, then started up again.
The snake was purchased from a dealer at an expo about 1 1/2 years ago by their account, and the dealer is someone I respect and that has a good rep localy.(although they live in CA and come down for expos here)

This snake is tiny, as you will see in the picture. Basically I am asking what I can do to take care of this animal. Any pointers on undoing whatever stunted it's growth is greatly appreciated. I am 99% sure it's not a dwarf, unless by some stroke of luck, it's WC and the dealer did not know it's origin.
I have read other posts here of people telling sellers that their snake is not a dwarf and I'm hoping that they might see this and be able to shoot me straight.
Thank you.

here's the pic,

Also, There really aren't any skin folds. His left eye seems kind of buggy, and seems to portrude a little more than the other.
Any suggestions, ideas, info, or opinion is greatly appreciated.
I didn't pay anything for the snake. I had it thrown in with their cash on a sale I made. So, basically I'm just trying to make the very best of this situation, don't worry about hurting any feelings.

update, 10 days in

I have had this little fella for 10 days now. Outwardly he/she seems great. 39 inches at two years old just seems crazy to me. I have a theory on the buggy eyes. I think that maybe the eyes, and other organs continued to grow even when the head and body didn't. All the dead skin has come off with proper enviroment and care. I fed a large adult mouse last tuesday and another today. I must be lucky because this snake is so chill. Maybe he's just too hungry to bite? I don't know but, he has always been easy to handle.(let's just hope it stays that way)
I tried to get pics of the buggy eyes but they came out very blurry.
