In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi im thinking about breeding high end retic morphs such as super tigers. Do you think a snake like this would sell good at shows im not in this for the money but i dont want to have 60 snakes not sell at a show. Im wanting to breed high end morphs because i feel they'd sell to the more experienced keeper due to the price. Just let me know what you think. P.S. I'm also thinking about breeding albino retics. If you think theirs something that would sell better let me know. thanks Eric

So what you are saying is that you are only going to keep and breed species that will make you money? I can only speak for myself, but I am pretty sure that most people who keep snakes are not in it for the money. Breeding is just and added bonus to having them. I know that there are people who make alot of money breeding snakes, but most started out with just enjoying having them and then had to find somewhere for the offspring. Things just seem to grow that way.
Pick a species, become a respected expert on that species, successfully breed the species and have healthy offspring and the money will come rolling in I assure you.

I seem to remember i said im not in it for the money. I just dont want sixty snakes for 3 years. And the reason i want morphs is because when they do sell its more likely there going to take better care of a 400 dollar snake then a 60 dollar normal retic. And i dont want to only breed and keep species that'll make me more money heck i breed Atb's and leo geckos those bring in hardly anything hardly enough to pay off the feeding and lighting. Thanks anyways.

Breeding

Hi I understand what your saying about one person taking better care of a more $$$$ snake than a low dollar animal. This goes for any animal I also raise and breed different kinda of dogs which your theory also come into play. The biggest thing like the other reply said is that you need to think about it and pick one out to start with that you can focus on. Now the is one problem and thats the fact of how sales are up and down. It also depends on what shows your planning on workin or setting up at. You hit these small town swapmeets and your most likely not gonna sell high dollar animals as fast as you would at Daytona or Tinley Park Illinois. The plus side of breeding is that you really have animals that pay for them selves which is nice but a person cannot rely on there breeding and selling of animals to care for the rest of there collection. What Im sayin is there are alot of things that can happen and as a breeder of other reps you know what im sayin as far as bad breeding (infertile eggs ) and other issues so just becareful what or how much you purchase I myself get overwhelmed at times . Good luck with what you decide and just sit back and really think about it and decide how many and what you want and as I said take into consieration that there may be a bad year with the whole project. SO JUST BE SMART BECAREFUL AND AGAIN GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT FOR YOU...
