In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I sent this guy $230 for an adult male amber and an adult female stripe corn. After several E-Mails I sent him a postal money order on July 3. It was cashed on July 10. He has not contacted me even though I have sent plenty of E-Mails and left 2 messages on his ansewering machine.Do not deal with this Rip -Off. Bruce Skipper

Can you show us copies of the emails?

No I no longer have the e-mails. Read my post closer I sent him a money order,it was cashed, and he will not contact me. He had no problem contacting me when he wanted my money. Its now 17 days after the money order was cashed. If someone was having a legitimate problem with an order I would be very patiet, but no contact what so ever after all of my efforts to contact him spells RIP-OFF in my book.

I had a similar situation last year with Rick. It ended on a positive note but he is not big on communication. I would keep trying to contact him him if I were you. He delayed shipping on me as well for, if memory serves, almost a month and long periods went by without prompt answers to my Emails. I was getting pretty pissed too. However, in the end, I got a nice pair of sub adult Black Pines from him and an extra hatchling male to apologize for the unreasonable delay.

My gut feeling is that he will eventually come through for you. I will say that the animals I received (finally) were very nice.

Keep plugging buddy

No problem.. its just nice to see the actual correspondence between the two parties.. well.. I hope you get your snakes. Since you did use a postal money order.. there always is the possibility of fraud.. but.. I think that is brought up in every post here.. lol... I wonder how many actually pursue this course of action.

?

I have been trying to get in contact with Rick regarding some snakes I have purchased from him and emails and phone messages have gone unanswered. If anyone speaks to Rick can you please have him contact me...

thanks.

hmmmm....

kinda makes me wonder if Bruce ever got his animal(s)??

i've seen rick at shows...i guess that is the only way to deal with him if you want what you pay for (in a timely fashion)...

too bad

I recieved my snakes but the manner in which they came was not satisfactory. They were sent express through the U.S.Postal service. There was a digit left out of my address and the mail man could not deliver them in the morning, because he could not find the address. I picked them up at the post office at 4:30pm. I also thought that 28 in. is a little shy of being adult snakes.I would have sold them as sub-adults,but I understand this is a gray area. Bruce

Hey Bruce,

I see you have posted more about me here than you have made efforts to contact me . I would also love to see the e-mails you sent me as well since I never received them either, as I stated to you on the phone when we spoke the other day. You also never let me know that you even got the animals as you said you would do. Reading this post was my first confirmation that you even got them. Perhaps the communication problem was partially yours. As for the size of the animals, at no time did I EVER say that they were adults. They were posted as 02 animals and I told you that they should be able to breed next year if pushed a little. I just looked through all the e-mails we exchanged and they all back up this point. Anyway, I apologize for the delay in shipping but I think you were a bit too concerned about saying you got ripped off than solving the actual problem.

Rick Krumrine

BTW Thanks to those who came to my defense

Just FYI...

Thanks for getting back to me Rick...

For all who've followed this post, Rick has had some adverse conditions to deal with over the last couple weeks which is why we had the lapse in communication...after hearing the details I completely understand the delay.

Rick called me this evening and as soon as I return from a short trip we will schedule a shipping date.

Thanks.

Rick Krumrine

Rick in all fairness to you I did try to have this Post removed, but the webmaster does not remove posts. As far as letting you know I recieved the animals,I afforded you the same respect you gave me.

Bruce, glad you got your snakes.

Rick, it seems like Bruce wasn't the only one having difficulty communicating with you, so don't jump on him too hard. While it seems from Danny's post you may have had a legitimate reason, if you don't communicate your situation to your customers, they can't be expected to be understanding to it.

By the way, why the illegal shipping?

i just got done with a deal with rick. he was a real pleasure to deal with. he has had a few problems lately but was still very helpful in setting this deal up with me. i will not hesitate to do business with him again.

I bought a beautiful Jani around three and a half feet from Rick at a snake show over a year ago. The snake was a little thin but Rick assured me that it was out of brumation. He said the reason he was getting rid of such a beautiful snake was because the mate got loose and he never recovered it. I fell for that. I bought the snake, took it home, fed it ten days later. The snake regurged. I called Rick and told him the snake had been declining in health daily and it didn't look good. That's when the new story took center stage. Rick told me that the snake double or triple clutched. Then he told me the snake was in perfect health before I got it and that I did something wrong, yet when I told him that I would get the snake to a vet, he said for me to bring it back to him and he would treat it. Now why would someone offer to treat a snake if they were convinced nothing was wrong and how would he know whay to treat it for? I've been raising Pits for twenty-five years. This was a first. In any case, I lost the snake and I will never do business with him again simply because he wasn't honest with me. In my opinion, once you have someone's money, you are obligated to keep in touch no matter what the circumstances. There is NO excuse for not taking two minutes to call or e-mail someone who's money or property you are holding. That is rude and insulting. Chris Kennard

Not looking good...

Okay, so I tried to keep an open mind and be a nice guy but I'm quickly reaching the end of my rope.

On July 17th I paypalled Rick Krumrine over 200 dollars for 2 snakes that I wanted to purchase from him.

A few weeks went by and I heard nothing...as you can see from my previous post a few emails and phone messages went unanswered AFTER paying for the snakes. I finally got in contact with Rick and he apologized saying there was a death in the family.

He offered to ship the next week but I was going away so we held off for the following week. That week comes and goes and after a few phone messages Rick called back to say he was away on vacation...FINE. We made plans to ship on his return. He got back a few days later...no call, no snakes. I called, spoke to him and he promised to ship out the following monday.

Well, Monday comes and I get a call from Rick saying "We have a problem". Apparently, one of the snakes died that day so he asked if I still wanted the other...or see if he could get a replacement. I told him to call me the next day to see if he could get a replacement...no call. So I call him the day after that asking for a refund and Rick says he would paypal me that night.

The night comes and goes, no paypal. I call a few days later to ask him about the paypal and he said he was on his way home from work and would paypal me as soon as he got home. That day comes and goes...no refund. So I then email him asking him to PLEASE refnd my money immediately as I needed the funds to pay for another project. And after a few days I get this email last night...

Danny,
Sorry for the delay, I checked my account and didn't have the funds to send
your money. I'm going to the bank tomorrow to male a deposit and I"ll paypal
you tomorrow night. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Rick

So here we are, it's now Tuesday and NO REFUND. At this point I am tired of being nice about this and am hoping that this post not only acts as a warning but also as a catalyst to getting my refund back. This deal has gone over 2 months now and has become more of an inconvenience than anything.

I will gladly post for closure's sake on this thread once I get my refund back. Apparently Rick has a few friends that frequent this forum and I'm hoping that they will have better luck getting accross to him than I have.

I understand that we all face adversities and the occasional problem can be looked past, but this is an unacceptable way to conduct business.

i bought a beautiful pair of rhino gaboon crosses from rick. the deal was in excess of $2000 and let me tell you the deal went great, not a hitch. i wouldnt hesitate to do it again!!
