    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thursday of last week you asked if I could ship out the animal. I said I would try as I was not home. this was obviously a back and forth. Bottom line, you got your refund on the date promised. Thursday was the day I told you, that the refund would be sent by the end of the week.

No. No.....

You are trying to make it seem like I was trying to back out of a deal and yo'yo'ing you. I'll post the text messages when I'm home. This was not the case. I was trying to make things easier on you because I could tell you didn't have my money.

Also, I put a link to the monitor I purchased in the PayPal invoice. So tell me again about your confusion with the right animal?

I agree, it's all moot at this point. You lived up to your end of the deal and everything is fine. We're pretty much just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point. I can agree to stop my part of that..
 
Is it fair to say there was inconvenience for both parties here? OP, you did buy the animal and then back out. I understand that wasn't the original plan, and stuff happens....but it seems like the seller tried to work with you. Granted it could have gone smoother. I guess I am not really seeing a bad guy on either side. I'm glad it worked out in the end.
