• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tiny Tim

We named him Tiny Tim and as you can see he was born with no defects, but came out only at 1.5"-2". As I said before he is now 5" and growing slowly. He was born in early March and as soon as he came out of the egg we instantly removed him from his clutch mates to ensure his survival. He receives the same care as far as lighting and heat, but his food is slightly different. We had to really finely chop his greens and watch his calcium consumption much closer because of his size and the size of his crickets 1/8" to pinheads and anything larger he ran from. The superworms I give him I started my own breeding, so he is given very very tiny freshly hatched supers. We soaked him in a sour cream container lid until now. He gets to have big boy soaks in the sink since he is now the size of my new hatchling. He does have a brother that is the same size as him, so they live in a separate enclosure in the livingroom where I can see them at all times. If he sees you coming with the crickets, he jumps right out of his enclosure once you open the door. My husband didnt believe it until he opened the enclosure and Tiny Tim took a giant leap and climbed up his shirt just to get the crickets. His brother was quick to follow. They show no problems in depth perception and are right on the money when it comes to chasing crickets, but I do have to put them in a shoe box to catch them.

Thanks Doreen! He is doing great and the only problem I have ever encountered with him is when he got too hot one day, but grammy took care of that. He got immediately soaked and pampered until he cooled down. I dont think I will ever be able to sell him because we are way to attached to him. I thought I could at one time, but I just dont think I could now.
