    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

At this point in time, I am almost laughing at myself as animals have always been in my life; however, I have had little ability to do much more regarding reptiles and amphibians besides catching them when I was a youngster (and aggravating the boys because I wasn't scared of them like most other females at the time. Thinking about it, that really ages me. I have taken care of many other animals yet only one little green anole under my belt for reptilians.

It is now many years past that point and I am strongly intrigued and interested in getting into caring for, as well as possibly breeding, a couple of reptiles. Even though I adore snakes they are not on my agenda (plus I live with other people who have made it clear to me "NO SNAKES." Sigh. Husband and roommates.)

What has caught my attention due to size and ease are leopard geckos and carpet chameleons. I have been watching YouTube, reading and have been able to test out how well I fare with small reptiles. I still have it but I don't still have the baby geckos and bearded dragon babies which refused to leave my hand. I guess I am pretty warm.

Either way, I wish to learn more. I am Canadian so don't know how easy it will be to obtain the little waifs through the classifieds here. I just hope to be able to keep up with everyone.

Scientific names are not my forte so please forgive me this little inadequacy which I've gained since my school days.

I hope to meet quite a few breeders here and learn a lot more besides how to get baby bearded dragons to leave your hand.
