    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i've seen some gorgeous pictures of type1 and type2 Tarahumara Mtn. kingsnakes, and i'd like some information about them if anyone could help. :)basically, i'd like to know how their temperment tends to be- how well they tolerate being handled, etc. also, their feeding needs as adults (the size of animals they can take), and finally what the availability is for type 1's and 2's. i've been doing some research online, but for some reason i cant find much about these particulars, specifically their temperment. again, thanks for any advice! :)

I've had a few over the years, knoblochi, and all have been nice mellow snakes. My adults ate good sized buy not jumbo mice.

I'm not familiar with the type one or two, though it does ring a bell somewhere in the hindbrain it's not loud enough to hear clearly.

Have you checked Bob Applegate out?

Mine is the mellowest King I have, and handles very well. She's the only snake my wife will steal from me when I'm holding her. She tends to take somewhat smaller prey than an equally sized king of another species. She'll take up to fuzzy/weanling rats, or small adult mice.

Check out Bob's website: http://www.applegatereptiles.com/species/knoblocki.htm

He has been breeding for many years and has the most beautiful stock I have ever seen. The Tarahumara in particular is awesome. I love it. Bob is very knowledgeable, he is more than willing to answer any questions you have. I had to give him a great plug over the mass amount of info he was so willing to give me.
