Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a 6 yr old German Giant female, I was wanting to know what are just a few things I can do to make life alittle less stressful and happy for her until its her time to go? Its wierd but I'm just concerend because I dont know exacly how long my she is going to last and I atleast want to make sure she has a good life before she goes. :bawling:
 
6 years old seems pretty young. Why do you think she is on her last legs? I would say house her by her self and defently dont breed. It would be cool to bring her out in the sun as much as possable. Feed her well. I may be wrong but I think dragons can live in to their 20s
 
sorry i was a little wrong about that. The book I have says around 10 is the most. I dont know though, im sure with good diet and houseing your beardie has a few great years ahead. Good luck, hope shes around for awhile longer. see ya
 
Well she already gets 3 hours outside in natural sunlight a day. Plus she gets a bath everyday and her feet cleaned with a special antifungal ( where she was over bred she wore her nails down to the bone) and she also gets fed crickets twice a day along with meal worms in the morning and greend all day long. Do you think that is pretty good so far? She is housed alone in a 125 gallon with a heat light and UVB light and of course logs and stuff to climb on.
 
Thats good, overbreeding is really bad for any animal. It sounds like you have a great home for your beardie. If anyone I know ever wants to find a home for another one I will be sure to look you up.
 
Your care and devotion to that beardie make me think that it has seceral years ahead of it, just keep up what you're doing and it should all be fine.
 
Vince: I totally agree she was in pretty bad shape when I got her, now she is 22" long and 500 grams! I guess the break she deserved after so long caught up with her.

ReptileKing: Thanx, I do spend most of my time and money on her, she goes to the vet every 2 weeks for check ups, any meds needed, and plus I buy her the best possible foods I can on the market. I guess since me and her have had rough times we deserve to be taken care of:)
