    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Comparison shot of 3 babies from the same clutch - all have fed the same number of times.

The two on the left were twins; the one on the right had her own room. 60+ gram difference between the middle and right at hatching.

I'm sure they will - I had to assist feed the little one twice, but she took the last one by herself. The other one has no interest in mice...until I hold them by the tails with tweezers so they freak out. She'll have to get over that soon.

The one on the right was a little slow to start...but when she decided she was ready to eat, she took f/t from the start. Kinda weird having hatching BPs start on f/t, but I've had a handful do it this year

Yeah we have had a couple to assist feed but they always seem to turn out to be the best feeders after that. We also had a couple just nail F/T as their first choice. Wish they were all like that...

I'm usually content to let them eat when they're ready...but, given her hatch weight of 23grams, I started getting antsy as we closed in on a month post shed.

Yeah we do also. Sometimes the hatchlings will go a couple months no food before i start getting worried. Still healthy and fat i just freak the ones we had to assist feed were one that had a twisted umbillicus and was around 30 grams and we had a boob egg snake that hatched at 25 grams.
