    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My daughter brought the following web site to my attention today. I think it's pretty sick and have to believe it's a hoax and not for real. At least I'd like to think so anyway. Has this topic ever come up before? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Tell me what you think of this site. Surely it can't be true. http://www.bonsaikitten.com/
 
Thought so

My daughter took it seriously and said she cried after seeing the pics. The fact that our family pet cat died today at almost 18 years of age didn't help matters any. It figures an MIT group would do something like that. I was pretty certain it was all a joke but kids don't think of these things.
 
I hear ya there Greg. I am a cat lover and it upset me at first as well. Sorry to hear about your cat passing. I just had one of mine die suddenly a couple months ago at 8 of heart problems. Its really something what kind of impact our pets have on us. Hang in there...
