    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

Hi- I was wondering what morph do you get when you cross a blizzard and a shct?
Thanks
Sandy

I don't think there is a morph from those two traits, woudl be intresting to see the outcome. I think KelliH was recently selling a SHTCT that was het for blizzard

You would get het for blizzards that probably have some level of reduced pattern (assuming Ray Hines line) and possibly some carrot tail.

Tang Blizzard??

Well as far as the bloodlines go- the Tangs -I am not sure of- I got both my male and female from pivate breeders online through trades for my Bearded Dragon Babies.
I am planiing to see what happens with this cross(tang and blizzard) as soon as my Female Blizzards are ready to breed-hopefully this coming breeding season.
This is a female that I have on hold I should be getting her and a male in the next couple of weeks to go with the rest of my Blizzard Family.

Sandra,
Are you getting that new female from Evergreen (in Spokane, WA.)? I recognize the background. I'm getting a couple of females (my first) from Brice on Saturday. I hope your experience with Evergreen was as pleasant as mine was. He seems to have a great operation and is very good about communication. I happen to live in the same state as him, so I will be picking up my leos directly from him at an Expo near Seattle.

Overton,
October 23rd and 24th at the Puyallup Fairgrounds
Here is a link to one of the sponsors.
<http://www.beanfarm.com/nwcbe.html>
Puyallup is southeast of Seattle, east of Tacoma.
You're even closer to Evergreen Reptiles than I am (he's in Spokane). If you haven't already, you ought to check out his site and get in touch with him. He appears to do a fantastic job and is a real nice and helpful guy.
If you go to the Expo, look for a guy towin' around a 5 year old boy. That'll be me.
Regards, Dean

Thanks!

Hea Hea!!! I just did! LOL I haven't checked his stuff in a while, so I thought I would after reading your post. I talked with him on the phone last summer about some Leo's he had, but never did end up buying anything. He does seem to be a nice guy!!??!!
Is this show worth going to? Im so used to going to San diego, Costa Mesa & Pomona! But I have never been to one up here in the Reptile void of the Pacific Northwest! LOL

Anyway thanks for the link...maybe I need to talk a little road trip! :)

I have never been to it before.........but I'm hoping it's a good one. I'm pretty much just going to pick up my leos from Brice (owner of Evergreen). As long as you don't compare it too closely with what I'm sure are the great reptile expos you mentioned in San Diego, etc. We are kind of a reptile "void" up here, but I'm pleasantly surprised at the number of Nor'westerners I see posting about leos.
By the way, when I used to live in Montana, we used to do a lot of our grocery shopping in Sandpoint. There were a couple of great sporting goods stores I likes to go into. One was downtown and the other was on the main drag on the edge of town. It seems that one of them was called the Pasttime or something like that. That's really pretty country over there.

Pastime

has gone out of buisness :(

I just checked the times of the washington show....and as usual! I will be gone!!!! (kayaking from St. Regis to Quins Hot springs that weekend) Dang I hope it dosen't snow!!! LOL

But have fun, one of these days I will make it over there.

Overton,
I checked out the link to your photos. It looks like you've done some kayaking around my old stomping grounds. I lived right along Highway 200 between Noxon and Trout Creek Montana. I was right on the reservoir of the Noxon Rapids Dam on the Clark Fork River. Seeing those photos makes me want to get back over there and do some fishing.
Sorry for the off-topic post, just interesting to see someone from that neck o' the woods.
Dean

Dean,
I just completed a hundred fifty mile trip from Troy Montana to Nelson British Columbia in six days. Next summer from Buffalo bridge on the Flathead river, down the Clark fork to home.....should be fun!
I'll pass right by your old house! :D

Hi- Yes the Blizzards are from Evergreen and I have also found Brice to be an extremely nice person and he is very accommodating to everyones budget and income.
I have been entranced by the Blizzard Morph since i frist set eyes on it and I am just thrilled to be getting that Blizzard pair.
After i acquired that Tang male -I got to thinking about the possibilities of a Tang-Blizzard cross and had only just seen Kellies ad for her trio after reading about it in this thread.
It seems that great minds think alike-LOL!!
I am really excited about getting into breeding my Leos and the possibilities just seem endless of what you can come up with in different morphs.
I am really looking forward to this Blizzard X Tang project :)
This is MoonBeam-One of my female Blizzards

She's really pretty!
I am starting out with 2 females - 1 Tangerine Albino (Possible Het. Patternless)(Rainwater line) and 1 Hypo Tangerine from Evergreen. I can see how I will likely do a little breeding myself, probably just for my own, but it sounds like it is habit forming . I may pick up a Blizzard male somewhere down the line for breeding with my females.

Thank you for the compliment- I just Love Blizzards-LOL!!
I can't wait to get the 2 newest additions to my family
