Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Persistence pays off LOL. Made several trips driving the roads in N FL looking for the elusive Southern Hognose. Nice cool morning on Tuesday, warmed up to 78 degrees around 9:45 AM and BINGO! Mr. Simus revealed himself and put on quite a show.

Simus

Previous trip rescued juvenile EDB off road and found nice 5 footer crossing dirt road. Nice N FL reds which tend to be a little darker. It was great to see all the Box Turtles on the move. Move several off the roads. They seem to be scarce here in Central FL.

Looks like my back yard. Washington / Holmes county . Look like the animals typical to my area. Nice male Simus by the way.
