    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone else experiencing severe sluggishness from this site right now? Seems to be running abysmally slow for me, so I want to see if it is a local problem on my end, or perhaps somewhere downstream between my server and my own location.

So let me know if it is running slow for you, or not, and where you are located so I can try to get a handle on where the problem is coming from.

I do have the server techs taking a look at it, but they were thinking it was the banner ad script causing the problem. But I have one other vBulletin based site that does not have any such links to it, and it is running just as slow. So I don't think that is the right tree to be barking up. Even being in the admin section, which does not display ads, is also running slow, so I don't see the FaunaAds site as being the boat anchor for this slowness problem.

Thanks for the feedback.

Come to find out it was my own main PC causing the problem. Tried it on my laptop and everything worked just fine. So I just rebooted my main desktop system, and then everything was just honky dory.

Can't figure out what could have gone wrong in my PC to make ONLY my own sites be so slow, and none of the others I tried elsewhere. :confused:

I've been wrestling with this all day, thinking it had to either be the server, data center, a server somewhere in the download channel, or even my ISP.

If I am still sane, I don't have a clue about how that could possibly still be the case.
