    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A while back I found some directions on how to build a snake rack with open sides and now I can't find them.... Does anyone know where I can find directions to build it? For an example of the rack I'm talking about look at the youtube video(jump to about 40 seconds and you can see it):

Harald,

Thanks for the reply, but I've looked at Clay's website and couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for... If you take a look at that youtube video link that I posted and jump to about 40 seconds in to it, you'll see the type of rack I'm talking about.

Thank you,
Brandon

You don't really need plans to build the rack in the video. It's pretty obvious how it's put together.
He used pre cut melamine shelves available at lowes for the sides and back. Looks to me to be the 12" width.

Most likely used the 24x48 pre-cut for the shelves of the rack too.

Just decide what tubs you want to use, cut the shelves to the appropriate size, then cut some spacers 1/8" taller than the tubs. Affix the sides and the back, heat as desired, and you're set.

Not my favorite rack design, but it's functional and extremely simple to build.
