In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Some long overdue baby pics

Very nice group of babies. I especially like the het hypo borrego. Congrats!

oh i love the last ones color! So RED. And gorgeous!

How do those guys look as adults? ( is it a normal?)

I wish I knew.
It is a normal, but it came about through a breeding of two different morphs...
They are so brick red in coloration! They're outrageous.

You plan on keeping one/couple of these guys? keep us updated on them ( or at least me) They are very very pretty!

Will do.
I'll have to take a better close-up...that pic is good, but doesn't really do them justice.
I'm definitely keeping a couple for myself...I went to all the trouble to produce double hets, I'll be damned if I don't try to produce the coastal snow rosy I've dreamed so long about! :D

Thanks Dennis!
It's been a great breeding season...1 left to drop before the long wait for 2009 to get here.

Hi John -

Really nice looking animals. As far as snake faces go, I think graybands (I'm biased) :D and rosies are the coolest. I have considered picking up a couple of locality and/or hets. How are the babies when it comes to feeding?

Also, what kind of camera are you using?

Thanks,

Bill

I'm using a Canon digital Rebel XTi. I mostly use the stock lens, but I also have a 50mm Macro for closeups.
Generally my rosies are enthsiastic feeders. Some litters, though, can be slow to start up, but eventually get the idea that feeding is good for them. :D

Hi again John -

I'm mulling over the XTi, XSi and the Olympus 510 or 520. Just gotta figure it out at some point. On another note, I'm very impressed with what I've seen of your animals and when I get home from overseas in the spring your rosies will be at the top of my list! Congrats on such nice snakes and the breeding success this year.

Bill

Thanks Bill!!!
It has been a good year!
Now I just need to ged rid of all(well, most of) these hungry little worms... :D
