I have acquired an Argentine boa that has some strange, large, fatty deposits along the lower half of her body. Much of the lumps appear to be outside the ribs and under the skin. However, you can also see them on her ventral side and her girth is exaggerated. It almost looks like she has a bad case of the mumps! She feeds well and shows no lethargy. I am attaching some pictures. Keep in mind that she has not feed recently. Any ideas would be helpful.
By the way, she is in quarantine and will end up seeing a qualified herp vet. Thanks in advance.
