    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Lately I can't subscribe to a thread. It takes me to the page and I add the subscription but when I go back to thread tools it isn't added and I don't get notifications. Anybody else experiencing this?
 
Weird..Thought it might be Firefox but does the same thing in Chrome. It shows an increase in the # of subscriptions but never really subscribes.
 
Actually, I'm having the same problem. My subscriptions are all listed in my user CP but I stopped receiving notifications a few days ago. Glad I checked the pages anyway - I was about to get my feelings all hurt that everyone was giving me the cold shoulder. :laugh:
 
Firefox here, too. I tried deleting some old ones,I'll see if it worked. I know I can't use smileys or any of the buttons when posting if I use the halloween skin.
 
But in the meantime, I may have to disable email from my various message boards to try to reduce the overall loading on the server through the mail engine. This will disable all email functionality, including reporting posts, and inter-member emails, but unfortunately this needs to be done.

DUUUUUH....boy, do I feel stupid. I actually read Rich's memo about this but clearly it didn't register with me. Thanks, Harald (sheepish grin)... :eek:
