    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i dont want to use vermiculite cause my mom has pulmonary asbestosis and im kind of freaked out about asbestos even tho the chances are low. i only have moist paper towel in her humid hide and she is starting to get restless now, walking around everywhere. These are signs that she is about to lay right? I cant wait for her to lay, when i look at her belly i see 2 big eggs in there so if anyone has any recommendations on substrate to usd, just let me know. thanks!
 
coconut fiber (used to use verm. but my leo would eat it) works great for me. peat moss sounds less messy tho.
 
Sand here

My breeders are all on sand, always have been and probably always will be.
Either way, get her something because I had a female housed by herself on papertowel who was never with a male yet she became egg bound. Most likely because she did not have a sufficient lay area. I came very close to losing her but with additional TLC and a sand substrate she laid the dud eggs.

where can i get me some peat moss? i tired my local garden shop but they dont have any. is there a site online that your order from?
