    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sudden reduction in PM storage size (not membership status related)?

I noticed this morning that my PM box said 100% full. I had over 192 messages in there and never got this notification before, and now it's telling me that I have a maximum allowable 100 PMs? It's not a huge deal since it was probably about time I purged old messages anyway, but I figured it didn't hurt to bring the change to someone's attention. I also checked my membership status and I'm still listed as a contributor (though I think that's about to expire in a month or so?), so I'm not sure what's going on? Thanks for the help!
 
I'm not sure exactly what it is you are seeing in your profile info, but your Contributor level membership expired on 12-31-2013.

So that would certainly explain what you are asking about.

Aaah, that had to be what happened then. My membership is no longer listed as contributor, although oddly it was yesterday? I'm guessing a weird 24 hour lag time happened. Thanks for checking it for me!
 
Some of the functions on this site run via CRON scripts that aren't always necessarily done more than once daily. Quite likely that is the case here.
