    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Super-Hypo Tang or Patternless?

I am buying a new female to introduce to my male on Fri. I have a choice between a Super-hypo tang and a patternless for about the same price. If you were me which would you pick and why? I am having trouble choosing.
 
We decided on here that he is an Albino Tang, possibly a Tremper Albino. He has gold eyes instead of the red/pink ones common for albinos.
 
If he is an albino tang, Id try to get an albino tang female but if those 2 are your choices Id go with hmmmmm I think the Super Hypo, just my preference.

But either one you get, you will not ne able to "introduce" them for quite a while, 90 day quaratine is normal, my breeding season is very slow since I made most of my purchases in Jan and Feb and they are still in quarantine even after having a clean fecal. You can get false negative fecals so 2 are better and 90 days to be safe.
 
GO with the Super Hypo in my opinion. Not only could you hatchout some very nice tangs but you might get some normals and such....Not that you wouldn't get nice offspring from the patty too....but personnaly- I'd reach for the tang....ick that sounds like an orange juice commercial...anyone remember TANG?

:rolleyes: Whats with the past tense on the Tang. They still make it, I still buy it, We all love it, and yes it still tastes just as good straight from the jar/can. :eatsmiley

I'd select a super hypo as well, create some nice female hets, and breed them to the father. Try to select a sharp looking tang super hypo if possible.....
