    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Or not....................

Well----this young lady bought herself a thread due to her very rough start in life. She was the product of a mating of 2 of my 'dinker' beepers and was part of a clutch of 4 viable eggs and 1 slug. Midway along the way one egg molded out. About a week prior to when I believed they should hatch, the third egg became moldy and nothing would reverse that!

Soooo....down to 2 eggs I decided to cut (no debate please that isn't what this thread is for). Within 24 hours one of the last two eggs was hazed and died.

Waiting for her to come out I was checking frequently...woke up one morning when this wee girl was absolutely lifeless in her egg. Clouded serum....everything looked wrong. I decided to break the membrane in a last ditch effort and pulled her head out since I could see some red blood still in the vessels. She literally had her mouth gaping when I pulled it out, looked dead then began to stir a bit. In any event.....I have been on pins and needles and she finally came out this afternoon

She deserves her own thread. She may not be the next great dinker. She may just be one of those normals that everyone disdains....however she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen---

She is called Polly, since the back of her neck has a little shape of a parrot with its beak open and the eye. (it was to be Crackers if it was a boy)

She is my keeper. (sorry for the long story but...Polly deserves it in my opinion--she shouldn't have been)

Oh, I am so happy she made it out okay! I was so worried about her. You're absolutely right. She EARNED her own thread. :D

Whether she grows up to become the next great dinker or not, she is a beautiful, beautiful girl. I love her!

Welcome to the world, Polly. May you be spoiled rotten for the rest of your life!

Of course, That`s what Aunties do :) I`m just so glad she is here and well. She looks quite chubby, too. I really think she will be a great dinker...she is SO pretty.

The rooting section from two different states was well orchestrated by Rayna. We've been secretly emailing back and forth...have you heard anything? Not yet. Have you? :D
