In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy The Urban Gecko is threating to sue me

I'm not sure how to quote someone's message but Amethysta has a good point. I haven't mentioned my age due to the fact that I'm not allowed to buy geckos from most places in the first place. That being said I always ask my guardian before I buy but at the end of the day it is my money. I'll be honest I've ordered from numerous places and never had a problem until I bought from TUG. And that's unfortunate in the fact that it was my first larger order.

I have a 17 year old son who is co-owner of all of my cresties. He wanted to see the videos last night, went to youtube and they weren't there. Any chance you can post them on your facebook page? I think it would be a good learning experience for him to watch.

I would, but I'm not sure of my next step yet. I'm sure he could read the discussion on here to get a good idea. If I decide to put the videos back up I'll comment on here. I just keep going back and forth about what to do that's best for me.

At the end of the day, it is your decision on how you want to proceed. You have posted here, so the word is out.

I do however have one request. I think so one mentioned the TUGs photo was flipped, could you post a picture of the other side of your gecko (if you still have it)? I saw on the pic of it from above & think that person may be correct. If the side matches, it is the same gecko & they have been playing dirty with their photos.

o_O Seriously about the air holes?
Yup, gecko was lying on it's back not moving when I opened the box. I couldn't believe it when I realized there wasn't a single air hole in the tub and it had been traveling for 2 days. Thank god the little guy was a trooper, and the tub had enough oxygen for it to survive.

Unfortunately I sold that gecko as I mentioned before. And I didn't have any pictures of her other side. But luckily she turned around in one of my videos for a few seconds. I already knew it was the same gecko but look at all the markings. They're the same on this side. In my opinion this is solid proof of photo enhancing.

I don't understand why they would do it in the first place? Anyone who bought that orange gecko and received a brown one would be upset.

Playing the odds, probably. People have various thresholds for action. Many people will back down when faced with resistance or inconvenience. With high enough margin per unit and high enough volume of sales, risking a portion of these types of events can be logical despite being (to me) unethical. Remember that is it not about you or about me, but about the majority of customers for a given business that might engage in such a practice.

Sam - I am one of the people, if not the first, to have commented on your YouTube videos encouraging you to come to Fauna. I'm glad you did, as the audience here is much wider than on YouTube for smaller channels. I don't think you should allow TUG to bully you but in the end it is about what you're comfortable with. You're young and living your life in anxiety over someone else's shifty business practices isn't right at all.

It's been said before but Craig has no grounds and likely no ability to go at you from a legal standpoint, so please don't let that bother you. Your post here will help future potential buyers to be fully informed of what they're getting into when making a purchase from this company. You did the right thing, and I hope Craig and TUG don't give you any more trouble.

They inverted the image, that's why the markings on the actual animals right are on the photoshopped animal's left. Correct?

Sounds like they send wrong/misrepresented stuff and just wager that most people won't go to the trouble of fighting to get what they thought they were purchasing. And when a customer does want it righted, they offer credit.

The "animal escaped while I was packing it" thing is so sketch. Wouldn't you call the customer and confirm they want a replacement BEFORE mailing them something they didn't order? Or give them the choice of a refund? Totally sketchy. My guess is that the animal escaping was a lie.

If you go to Urban Python and look at the animals it's very clear that the photos have orange added. All the animals look like orange dreams and the ones that actually are orange dreams look like super orange dreams. Anyone familiar with ball pythons will see it clearly.
