This is a 30 inch Pair Young Adult Aldabra tortoise future breeding project
Hello folks I Have a pair of young adult Aldabra tortoises which will make a nice future breeding group.
The male is 30" and the Female is 29" the female is at the age she will start laying eggs in the next couple of years
The male is a bit younger and is probably 5 maybe 6 years away from successful breeding potential.
This is the age to buy them, as they skyrocket in price from this age as the breeding potential goes up.
The female I imported from Mauritius a few years ago to add her to my breeding stock.
but a deal came up and I moved in a different direction.
Aldabras grow slower in their natural country of Origin
Aldabras are older for their size in Mauritius then they are in the USA
Not all 29" Aldabras are the same, an Aldabra raised here in the US is larger and much younger.
Importing females has proven in the past to be the most likely to produce over their US counterparts.
I purchased her a few years ago for $42,000
Older 30" males are hard to find and can sell for $30,000
I am offering the pair now when my winter sales are slow I am offering the pair $79,000
That price will probably go up in the spring
when sales start to kick in with better weather and tax returns
This is a great time and age to acquire these animals as In the next few years a pair like this will sky rocket because of the breeding potential
A deposit is required to reserve an animal.
