    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This made my day

I can't even begin to explain how excited this made me. I'm not sure if she'll go but this certainly doesn't hurt anything.

They are ringed pythons todd.

They are ringed pythons todd.

This is the first lock I've actually witnessed, I've been pairing them for the last couple months though. There's not a lot of information out there as far as breeding these guys so I'm hoping the few things I've tried will be sufficient. If not there's always next year, I think I have a better idea now anyway.

Super cool. These look good as adults and dynamite as neonates. Glad to see the potential production of more.

I agree, I really like the iridescence they display in the sun. I have a few adults I've been cycling and a few more females I'm growing up so hopefully I'll have some success this year or next.

I'm always excited when I see locks but this one was a big deal for me. I didn't cool them at all this winter so to be honest I'm not expecting fertile eggs (or any eggs), but at least this is an indication that I have things set up correctly now. Who knows, maybe they'll surprise me in a couple months.

Im sorry. I am totally confused. What do you have to do with nick and the ring pictures? This site is extremely difficult to navigate for a new person.

Huh? Did we miss something? How do you know they didn't go, did Nick say something I missed?

These were part of Ira's collection that I was working with. The arrangement we had set up didn't end up working out so they're still with him in FL and I'm back in WA. Hoping to get them shipped up here at some point though ;).

I thought for sure one of the female rings was gravid but apparently she never laid. She was off food and coiled but no luck. Had some marron boas there that locked a few times too that never went, I was sure one of them ovulated but nothing came of it. Very unfortunate, but pretty sure I have it figured out whenever I work with them again. I started working with them too late in the season I think.
